The 81-Square Universe (often shortened to 81SU) was a shogi community website created by rikoDLC. It began on September 11, 2009, originally as a free site hosted on Heavenforum, before moving to its own website a month later. 81SU featured, at the time, the most active English shogi forum on the internet, and was the original host of 81dojo. It also hosted Shogipedia.
